It also provides continuous guidance, even when the satellite signal is lost, and is an integral part of the dashboard. Exceptional roadholding, for exceptional driveability: that's the aim. With the front and rear wheels at equal width, the New Scénic offers unrivalled balance and directional stability. The comfort and precision are equally superb on bends and wet surfaces. For responsiveness, it's backed by understated, high-performance engines that accelerate freely, particularly with the dCi 160 diesel and the TCe 130 petrol. All engines promise reduced consumptions and CO2 emissions. New to the Scénic is a CVT (continuously variable transmission) gearbox that can be matches to the 2.0 VVT 140 engine. CVT transmission gives a smooth, efficient and quick rate of acceleration. Also available is the dCi 150 engine which comes with a s-speed sequential shift proactive gearbox.
