Renault is big on safety and Twingo is no exception. Scoring four stars in the Euro NCAP passive safety tests, Twingo has been officially recognised as a safe small car. It also delivers reassuring handling and class-leading road manners with sure-footed, reliable performance.

Twingo's structure features energy absorbing crumple zones to safeguard the cabin and protect all the occupants. In the event of frontal impact, the sill and the door beam of Twingo spread the force over the entire langth of the car to absorb and dissipate the kinetic energy.

Twingo will also be available with modern driving aids rarely seen on small city cars. Available with a speed limiter, cruise control, automatic lights and wipers, and rear parking sensor, you'll feel more secure in your Twingo than you ever thought possible.

Twingo's safety system also acts to protect its occupants. It includes up to six airbags; two front and two front lateral airbags as standard, plus optional  curtain airbags. Airbags can also be deactivated to allow a child seat to be fitted.

ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) is part of Twingo's advanced safety system. It prevents wheels locking in the event of emergency braking, enabling tyres to maintain control of the vehicle's trajectory.

Small on the outside, Twingo is surprisingly roomy inside.
