Ford Fiesta
The new Fiesta is a vivid expression of all that is inspirational in design today. If you’ve ever marvelled at ground-breaking architecture, been excited by haute couture, or been moved by art – this car will provoke a strong sense of déjà vu. Today’s design icons have influenced every line and detail, from the sculpted, dynamic exterior to its sophisticated interior. And the technology in the cabin is as innovative as the most advanced electronics around today. No wonder the experts at What Car? not only crowned the new Fiesta as Car of the Year 2009 , but also voted it Best Supermini.Exterior styling | A large, inverted trapezoid grille leads the eye out towards the new Fiesta’s toned, athletic shoulders. The raised bonnet line and pronounced wheel arches add to this air of athleticism, while sleek, swept-back headlights surrounded by chrome detailing create sophisticated jewel-like accents. The new Fiesta’s rising bodyside beltline sweeps up towards a high rear light cluster, maintaining a coupe-like wedge shape that gives it a look of pent-up energy.
Colours and trims | The new Fiesta’s been designed to represent everything that’s stylish about today. Not just the shapes and the beautiful flourishes found on contemporary electronics and architecture, but colours and textures that appeal to your senses.

Interior styling | Futuristic, yet instantly comfortable, the new Fiesta welcomes you with warm, ambient lighting, while the dashboard surrounds and envelops both you and your front seat passenger individually. The interior fabrics and colours, even on the door trims, co-ordinate beautifully and are sure to provoke comparisons with designer fashion brands. At every turn, stylish flourishes catch the eye. If you are an admirer of branded consumer electronics, you’ll find our innovative technology just as advanced and ergonomic.
Technical highlights | The new Fiesta’s design has been heavily influenced by the look, style and feel of Now, but that’s only half the story. Inside, every piece of technology, every new feature, has been examined and the learnings gleaned from a variety of different industries applied to them. The result is a car that’s as innovative as it is chic.
Safety and security | The new Fiesta’s robust body has been built using ultra high-strength steels and specially shaped body panels. This makes the car lighter and tougher than ever before and affords maximum protection for you and your passengers.
Powerful, efficient engines | The all new Fiesta is available in four petrol engine and two diesel engine options. And in late 2008 a Fiesta ECOnetic with CO2 emissions of less than 100g/km will be available. All engine options are combined with a 5-speed transmission.
