Our Sales Team is trained to help you choose the most appropriate scheme, but you must always be sure that you will be able to make the payments for the duration of the agreement. They will also provide, at the appropriate time, a written quotation that is easy to understand and free from jargon. When you have chosen the most suitable scheme we will propose you to the Finance Company who will perform some credit checks, and authorize the loan. Once accepted, all you will then need to do is sign the agreement before taking delivery of your new car.
Currently the most popular option, especially with new car buyers, is the Personal Contract Purchase (or PCP). A portion of your car's value will be deferred until the end of the agreement, called the Guaranteed Future Value or Optional Final Payment. It is important to choose a plan that anticipates your average mileage so that the payments are affordable, but also to gauge the correct Future Value. At the end of your chosen agreement period, you make one of three choices - part-exchange the vehicle for another car, pay the optional final payment and retain the car, or return your car with no further payments (subject to terms and conditions). PCP works particularly well for customers who do an average mileage and wish to change their car every few years.
Personal Contract Hire (or PCH) works in a similar way to PCP, but you have to hand the car back at the end. This can be used in conjunction with a maintenance contract to provide a reliable monthly running cost for your vehicle.
The other popular option is traditional Hire purchase. (HP). After paying an initial deposit, you pay the remainder of the value of the car in instalments, normally over a period of between one and five years. In effect you are hiring the car until you make your final payment after which you will own it. This is particularly suitable for high mileage users and customers who wish to keep the car for a longer period than the finance agreement.

No fees are usually charged for arranging policies. You will receive a quotation for each individual recommended insurance policy. Lifestyle Europe Ltd can introduce a limited number of lenders to customers in order to assist with their purchase, and may be paid for that introduction.

7. Are we covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme?
We are covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.
Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 90% of the claim, without any upper limit.
