Personal Contract Purchase or PCP combines all the ebefits of traditional finance methods to offer you an attractive way to purchase your vehicle. You will benefit from affordable monthly payments which are often lower than those you would expect from a traditional finance plan of a similar duration.
At the time of sale a Guaranteed Future Value (GFV) is agreed, which is the amount that will be outstanding at the end of the agreement, This amount and the desposit you choose to pre pay are set against the vehicle price, and the monthly repayments are based on the balance plus the interest.
At the end of the agreement you will have three options:
Another car
Return to Carzone and choose a new car, using any excess value over the GFV towards a deposit on your next vehicle.
Return the car
Simply return the car and walk away. If the market conditions have changed and the car is worth less than the GFV, the lender will absorb any loss. Provided the vehicle is in good condition for its age and does not exceed the agreed mileage.
Keep the car
Keep the car by paying off the GFV. Even if the vehicle is worth more, you as a customer only have to find the agreed GFV set at the outset of the plan.
